Incorporated in 1965 with 110 lots, including 28 duplex lots.

Mountain Valley is a peaceful community on the quiet side of town.  The subdivision is just east of Aspen off Hwy 82, heading up Independence Pass about a mile from the Aspen gondola and downtown Aspen.  Rabbits, foxes, and bears still call it home.  A great location with spectacular views!
